Click for audio recording of the number name* for 7.318:
* The form of the number name, both on-screen and in the audio recording, is that recommended for teaching children decimal number concepts. It emphasises the values of the digits after the decimal point, unlike the "spell the number" form "seven point three one eight". There are Australian, English and American voice recordings available.
Hi-Flyer Decimals uses pictures of blocks (based on familiar place-value blocks) to model decimal quantities. The software is supported by a Binder pack with support materials in a sturdy ring binder or as printable support files (PDF) downloadable with software. Contained within is a User Manual and 49 Activity Cards and 49 Worksheets. Also there is an introductory video explaining the on-screen blocks, tools and the printed materials.
